As I predicted Spain won a thoroughly deserved European cup last month and the jammy Germans were stopped dead in their tracks.

I have been busy getting back into my work on MendMyPC since the tournament ended and to say it has been slow would be a great understatement.

Unfortunately or fotunately depending on your view, this is a very sporting summer with the Beijing Olympics starting next month.

Will I ever get any work done.

Turkey are out of Euro2008!

Despite a very plucky performance that saw them play their very best football, they were robbed in injury time by a superb goal from Lahm.

This was quite ironic because Turkey have won a few games like this, so to have the same treatment must have been hard.  On reflection I am still not convinced by this German team, they have been inconsistent and have been very very lucky so far, I would even go further to say they don't really deserve to be in the final.

It's Spain versus Russia tonight and that should be a very entertaining game.

On the work side, I managed to get only one of the classes I was hoping to code for MendMyPC going, in my defense it has proved to be a a big task so I'm doing ok I think.  Perhaps I'll get it finished by Friday or Saturday and then it's the final on Sunday and then things should return to normal.
